The curatorial team of Fashion for Good Museum will be in conversation with researchers, artists and activists to provide a deep dive into the stories that are represented in the new Installation by Sha’mira Covington - Curative: Confronting and Healing the Fashion-Industrial Complex. Her installation asks us to question the history of cotton. Through different objects such as archival documents, images, and material culture, the installation explores stories of colonisation, the trans-Atlantic slave trade, capitalism, globalsation and the fashion-industrial complex.
